The founder's sons, Dino and Gino, took over from their father Giulio and in turn passed their work tradition on to Ettore, Achille and Massimiliano. The new Julius fruit packing warehouse, located in Emilia-Romagna, was built respecting the environment. About 60-70% of the electricity is produced by photovoltaic panels. They are installed on roof of the building reducing carbon emissions. Cold rooms are built with CFC and HFC free panels which are made of ozone-friendly materials. Rain water is stored and filtered in order to enable its reuse for other mechanical processes. Each manufacturing process respects the waste separation. The Julius brand is covered by the Global Gap and the IFS certifications.
